Dilek Yucel has over 30 years of experience as a registered Counselling Psychologist and Family Therapist. Working in a very client-centred way, Dilek applies therapy and modalities to suit where the client is at in the moment. Clients come in to therapy with a purpose and Dilek will work hard to help focus on that purpose rather than imposing an agenda on the client.

With a work history as a family violence worker, child & adolescent therapist, school counsellor and Head of Wellbeing in secondary school education, couples therapist, therapeutic group facilitator, Dilek works with a range of client groups including; individuals, couples, families, children and young people.

Dilek has a passion for working with couples to assist in the process of co-creating the type of loving relationship they desire. She also works in relationship-recovery with couples that are in crisis and conflict, helping them to cover the open wounds that tear apart the intimacy and finding strategies that help heal and re-build the relationship.
